About the project

The Bright’s Grove Library Expansion represents an opportunity to establish a third space in Bright’s Grove, establishing a location for the community to learn, gather and grow.

The expansion project will include renovations to the existing 3,165-square-foot Faethorne House library building, alongside a 7,060-square-foot addition to the facility. The expanded space will see accessibility improved to the branch, with second floor gallery space moved to the first level, and the installation of an accessible lift. Other improvements include expanded community and library programming space; increased collection space; accessible washrooms; dedicated rooms for study, maker spaces and other activities; and improved operational spaces.
