Notice is hereby given that at its meeting to be held on Monday, July 25, 2022, Sarnia City Council will give consideration to the adoption of a Caregiver Policy for Members of Council.
The purpose of this policy is to provide guidance on compensation for members of Council when a member of Council is required to arrange for care of a dependent in order to attend Council or Committee Meetings.
The proposed policy is available for viewing in the 'Documents' section of this page.
Questions and comments regarding this policy can be directed to the Office of the City Clerk, at 519-332-0527, ext. 3320 or by e-mail to clerks@sarnia.ca.
Written comments regarding this policy are requested to be submitted no later than noon on Monday, July 18, 2022, in order to be included in the final report for Council's consideration.
