At its meeting scheduled for Monday, July 12, 2021, Sarnia City Council will give consideration to the adoption of a Neighbourhood Community Garden Policy.
The purpose of this policy is to establish guidelines to allow the public to develop and operate Community Gardens on municipal property. The Community Garden Draft policy is to collect feedback from the public to establish guidelines to allow and operate gardens in community parks. This program is designed to increase public enjoyment through active and inclusive participation in the City Parks.
Deadline for feedback on this project is now closed, and under review by staff.
