Consultation has concluded

The City of Sarnia is committed to providing a community that is safe, healthy, livable and welcoming to all residents and visitors. This policy seeks to minimize incidents of graffiti on both public and private property by prompt removal, prevention, engagement, monitoring and reporting.

The proposed approach is a comprehensive policy that considers all infrastructure, regardless of ownership, and one that responds both in a reactive manner to remove identified graffiti, and also deliver a prevention strategy to protect city assets from this nuisance and expensive form of vandalism.

Council reports relating to graffiti, as well as the draft Graffiti Management Policy are attached here for the public's information.

Written comments regarding this policy should be submitted to the Community Services office no later than 12:00 noon on Monday, March 15, 2021 and directed to parksandrecreation@sarnia.ca, by mail to the attention of the Community Services, 3rd Floor, Sarnia City Hall, 255 North Christina Street, P.O.
