Sarnia Transit is inviting local artists and photographers of all ages to submit original artwork or photography that highlights the spirit of our community, transit system, or city landmarks. Select entries will be featured on Sarnia Transit’s Monthly Bus Passes and promotional materials.
Contest Details:
Theme: “Your Sarnia, Your Transit”
Open to: All residents of Sarnia (amateur and professional artists / photographers welcome)
Submission Deadline: October 1, 2025
Format: JPG, PNG, or PDF (minimum 300 DPI for print)
Size: Must fit within 3.5 x 2 aspect ratio (standard pass size)
What We're Looking For
We’re looking for images that represent our community and our transit system, such as:
Local scenes and landmarks
Sarnia Transit in action
Community life and seasonal events
Artistic representations of movement, community, and sustainability
Terms & Conditions
By submitting your artwork or photo, you agree that:
Your work may be featured on Sarnia Transit passes, social media, website, and promotional materials.
You are the original creator of the submission.
You grant Sarnia Transit a royalty-free license to use and adapt your work across all media.
Submissions may be cropped or adjusted for formatting.
Artist credit may be included on the back of the pass (optional).
Inappropriate or copyrighted content will be disqualified.
If you're under 18, you need parental or guardian consent.
The submitted work was not created primarily with Generative AI tools
Selection process
Submitted artwork will be reviewed by Sarnia Transit staff. Staff will notify individuals whose art work is selected. Selections will also be announced on City Social media.
